Work has begun on the expansion of the ReMix production plant in Ostellato (FE), an industrial development operation that will lead the site to become the production hub for ceramic compounds for slabs, next to the plant in Casalgrande (RE), which is specialized instead in the production of REWhite® whiteners.

Although confidence is down almost everywhere, ReMix is betting on the future with an investment of more than 7 million, which will lead to an increase in ceramic compound production from 40,000 to 120,000 tons per year and represents an employment opportunity for the surrounding area.

Trust in the future means investments, and ReMix has chosen to grow despite a unique period like never before in recent contemporary history: the pandemic, the war on European soil, the inflationary crisis, the shortage of raw materials and out-of-control energy prices. These crisis factors drew a highly complex scenario in which the ambitious project undertaken by ReMix takes on even greater significance, denoting the possibility of an upturn. The beginning of this work, structured with a view to sustainability and innovation, will allow the new facilities to be used as early as October 2023.
